People are actually posting Area 51 raid livestream videos on YouTube of the event and they're not really kidding.

Dozens of revelers gathered near the top-secret base, purportedly hoping to glimpse some extraterrestrial life—but all they got were memes and selfies.

Over 370,000 people signed on to a Facebook event to raid Area 51 in search of aliens. The facility’s purpose has long been a subject of speculation.

Nobody actually rushed the top-secret military base. “We just wanted to see people like us,” one visitor said.

People are jokingly planning to raid Area 51 in September. They just want to believe and "see them aliens," is that too much to ask?
